haha, the hairbrush, i love it!
with game character i meant, not 100s of 4k maps and millions of polies

You guys are awesome. Hahaha, the reactions: @aveon , @briandolan89
I was not sure what to put on that leg. By the end of the day it was the hairbrush then
@RogerP : Big thanks! I hope I can find time to carry all the details till the end.
@zyp : Thanks man! It was difficult to convey the look and feel I wanted in the blockout. Glad you noticed it.
@z_pixel_bro , @danieljohnsson : Thanks for the kind words.
@maxloegler : Yeah, I hope it will be less than half a million polys in the end.

lots of nice detail and props, like it!!

Wow. Great job. You make it very fast) The only thing that bothers me - her mask. It looks simple and follows the feathers line flow, but.... I would try to find something more interesting. May be some aztec designs? aztec mask But, it is just me. I think you will find the best solution in the end)

Wow nice, this is looking so awesome already! Great design/idea and good progress so far already. You´re fast haha.

I agree with @acap to an extent. Regardless of what you do you need something more, but I know this is just a first pass; some leatherwork etching details would really help give some interesting while not drawing too much away from the face, and at the same time isolate it from the rest of the headdress when the mask is down (making the red goggles the new focus point).

Thanks to all of you. You guys are great motivators!

@acap , @aveon : Thanks for the good feedback and suggestions. Great Idea with the aztec mask, I can try it out. I hope it will fit the Western/Indian theme. My initial idea was to make an plague mask like this one:

The model is still blocky, so maybe it isn't obvious right now. Of course I'll do the sculpting pass, and add some leather and metal details later. But first I need to settle the topology for all the objects.

@mathijskapteijn Thanks man! Too kind, but I am not that fast as I would like to. Still messing around with the design of the gun. Will post some WIPs of it soon.

very cool design! haha Love the comb on the leg...

Fantastic figure ^_^ love to play some day a game with this character

Thanks! It took a while to work on her face. This is the sculpt, nothing special. I exaggerated some of the skin features in the sculpt to make them noticeable within the skin shader.

Here some shots from Marmoset:

I painted the diffuse und specular maps in mudbox using projections and usual brushes.

I'm still not sure about the skin tone and the eye color. Maybe a bit darker, what do you think?

I love the turnaround, every angle is so interesting! I feel like for the face, the surfacing indicates an older person's skin compared to the sculpted forms which are really youthful. If you wanted to I think it could be toned down a little? Great work though, looking forward to seeing how it turns out
