Thanks! It took a while to work on her face. This is the sculpt, nothing special. I exaggerated some of the skin features in the sculpt to make them noticeable within the skin shader.

I painted the diffuse und specular maps in mudbox using projections and usual brushes.

I'm still not sure about the skin tone and the eye color. Maybe a bit darker, what do you think?

I love the turnaround, every angle is so interesting! I feel like for the face, the surfacing indicates an older person's skin compared to the sculpted forms which are really youthful. If you wanted to I think it could be toned down a little? Great work though, looking forward to seeing how it turns out

nice work! it's interesting how much you have to exaggerate the skin to get nice results!
i hope you don't mind, but i did a paint over.
makeup on the eyelids would make them more homogeneous. and i desaturated the skin down a little bit.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and suggestions. I used another night for tweaking and improving the skin.

@blair Good feedback, thanks! I trashed the first sculpting and did a much detailed one based on your suggestions.
@maxloegler : Thanks for the tipp! I changed the eye color to dark-brown and the skin to more latino, native, tribal look. What do you think?

@fantasymaster I wonder why it doesnt let you know that you were tagged. I just happened to see that while looking at your thread lol. I actually really like the skin. I suck at doing skin. I do like the revised version more for sure. It fits more. Once your hair gets going. Its going to look sick. Your last female character looked really good too. I dont really have a critique at this stage so far because I think its looking really good. I definitely think the front view of her face is a best shot based on the shape of her head. The 3/4th shots for some reason throw me off. Id say just keep pushing forward on it. Good stuff

@JoseFuentes : I used skin alphas for sculpting the skin details in zbrush. Then used projections of a face scan image in mudbox for the base texture. Then painted the color and some finer details in mudbox using standard brushes.
I hope this make sense.

Mudbox? I have only heard of it in legends passed down by my grandfathers grandfather haha. Jokes aside looks good, the brow/eyelashes aren't final yet right?
