Here's a quick write up of what I have so far for this character. It was definitely a struggle to pick a side since I have an attraction to both as I'm sure most of us do. This is at least my starting point, will see where creativity takes me from here. i'm going to try and Twitch stream as much as I can for this as well. https://www.twitch.tv/willswrath

NAME: INFERNO
CAT: 3D
SIDE: FANTASY (ELEMENTAL-LAVA/PLASMA)

Inferno is the anti-muse to all artistic and creative progress. He has a small army of Imps that are responsible for interrupting, breaking momentum, creative blockage, idea theft and plenty more. While the Imps can only take part in distractions, they can't actually kill the creative process. That is where Inferno comes in to vanquish ideas if not forever then at least fracturing them enough that the soul of the original idea is lost and difficult or near impossible to find. The irony of his destruction is it leaves a byproduct of carbon and ash which easily accumulates and can be used as more fuel for creative media (graphite, ink, and pigment).

-Very limited eye sight (cataracts)
-In a constant state of zoning out, a haze of indifference
-Soft, pale, fleshy skin on face with high SSS
-Molten Lava Internal Core
-Cast Iron Armor
-Art Style - Gears of War/Doom
-A Lava Sword that is pulled from the furnace cavity within his chest
-Imp Swarm

Another update for today. Still super early feeling things out and haven't gotten to some of my concept sketch ideas. But already starting to know what is working and what isn't as much.

hahaha I love the inspiration for this! Do you plan on implementing the abstraction for representing how he actually kills creativity? (Looks like a good block out so far, you're pushing silhouette nicely :3)

Thanks Aveon! Yeah, part of the destruction of creativity is a two part process. He has this army of imps that do the dirty work to take and retrieve it for him. The ideas are then "killed" with the heat of his inner core. The original concept (not drawn here) he has a kind of flame sword that sticks out of his torso which obliterates the ideas. But there is a by product of killing ideas in the form of carbon and graphite as well as his armor becomes decorated more and more with ornamental etchings.

Very small update. Wanting to incorporate asymmetry in the main chest design and it's important that it opens up or allows access to Inferno's internal heat core. This may take quite a few design iterations so I'm going to move on to other areas that are less finished and come back to the chest area later.
