Created a thread for my entry for ART WAR. I'll dump my progress shots and stuff in here.

My concept will be Science Fiction based, a hybrid exoskeleton/mecha female character. Will post rough concept soon.

My Intro Picture design is terrible, but I think it will do for now.
I tried to incorporate some technobabble, but hopefully I didnt over do it D:

man this is why i suck at naming stuff on the spot haha. I wasnt planning to have aquatic functions, but hey, its science fiction based so i can probably conjure up something!

really? I thought, leviathan > sea monster > aquatic movment and monsterous strenght. like a gigantic sci fi nucleaur submarine!

yeah i was thinking along the lines of something gigantic like behemoth, but i didnt really like the sound of behemoth and went for a similar word to it.

i got my backstory nearly planned out, its a bit of a cop out but it might work. I'll update on the weekend with some sketches!

Some sketches, but they are super sketchy, and just drew them out for the overall feel of the exoskeleton. I want to get right in the 3D ASAP, but I might draw abit more of the functionality and stuff along the way as well.

O wow, that looks awsome. and the character doesl ook quite friendly for someone who is able to end a live anywhere on the planet but hey, maybe this is just a trick! to fool me!

shes supposed to have some mischievous expression on but its not shown well cos of the helmet. oh well, you cant judge a book by its cover =3=

Thanks! I'll focus on making the Character first, so I can adjust the Exoskeleton scaling using the character as reference. I'll probably draw another close headshot of her with a blockout of the body in maya by next weekend!

Added some more pics of my progress. This week focuses mostly on head, and since its been a while since i used zbrush, getting my way around it again. I might start sculpting the body by next week and then slowly start my way into hard surfaces.
