Hey! Siding with Team Fantasy will be my entry, Mistress Corvina.

I want to focus on raven and arcane imagery. Hopefully it comes across as I continue with the design. This will be my first contest and I hope to learn a lot from this experience.

Here's my latest progress.

Some slight design variations I'm considering while I'm sculpting out the major volumes. The upper body area -- mostly the arms and shoulders -- feel a little neglected and uninteresting. Maybe I'm just over designing.

Here's my current WIP:
Finally have most of the major volumes down. I'm still missing the pauldron which should be coming shortly. I'm also playing with different hairstyles. I'll have some sketches of those soon.

Quick update!
Here are some sketches of the weapon she'll be carrying with her.
I'm leaning towards design "C" more. I'll definitely be incorporating the lantern/cage somewhere. If it isn't combined with her weapon then she'll most likely be holding it in her off-hand if not attached to her person in some way. I'll also be giving her a tome to wield as well.
