I'll be going team fantasy :smiley: I'm thinking along the lines of a Princess Mononoke inspired tribal chieftain. The tribe will be on a mountain near a forest where spirits guard, these spirits are fox like creatures that protect the trees where crystals grow from the trunks. The tribe helps guard the forest and spirits and in return get so of the crystals that they use as a power source.

Thank you! With these designs I was trying to tackle how to have fur on the character without making her look like she lived in a extremely cold environment. I don't want the presumption that the character is from a cold environment because the tribe is frequently in this forest where the spirits are despite the tribe living on a mountain. I quite like the left design but I'm happy to take other opinions :smile:

I also looked a bit more at the accessories where I wanted some bits that would be unique to the chieftain. Going a bit more into the backstory of the character, the girl first started off as the previous chieftains daughter, her name was Samantha. She would often spend her time playing with the spirits, however her father died from a unknown illness and Samantha being the closest to the spirits became chieftain. She was given a fox mane that was the spirit at the time when the tribe first pledged to protect the spirits. This was a symbol to show who the spirits trusted the most which had belonged to many of her ancestors. She was also given a belt that had inscribed onto it the history of how the tribe came to be what it is today.

Immediately saw Princess Mononoke in this good job even better is that i don't think i ever watched it so you must have done really good. :wink:

Hi all haven't been able to get much done during Christmas and new year but have managed to get some sort of a head sculpt together. Not sure if I'm going to stick with this design but we will see :smile:
