Earth is divided into 6 realms. The realms are based on the elements. Earth, Wind, Air and Fire form the corner realms, while the realm of light and the realm of darkness form the center realms.
Each corner realm has 6 protectors. The 2 protectors of the center realm remain stationary while the corner protectors roam the earth, protecting their realm from the Aiylal. The Aiylal are an ancient order, inhabiting the 4 corner realms, who's goal is to destroy the barriers that separate the realms. To achieve their goal, they must capture all 6 protectors in each of the corner realms and bring them together in one of the center realms. If they are brought together in the realm of light, all living creatures would unite into a single entity. But if they are brought together in the realm of darkness...
As of right now, the Aiylal have captured all but one protector...
Siana is a young woman who never really fit in. Since she was a small child she was drawn to books and art. She fed on knowledge and creativity, spending her days in the Grand Central Library. From time to time she would attend school, grow tired of the pace, and wind up back at the library. Her Mother worked three jobs to keep food in their stomachs and a roof over their heads. When her mother died suddenly, a strange man showed up, claiming to be her guardian. His name was Clovis Akkadia, an old man with dark skin and gray hair.
From the moment he showed up, he told her fascinating stories of distant lands. Places where dragons ruled the sky. Of places where people lived under the ocean in cities that spanned for hundreds of miles. When Clovis had gained Siana's trust, he began explaining to her, the role she must take on. To replace him as a protector. Although she trusted Clovis, his remarks were met with skepticism. Her skepticism was quickly dispelled when she witnessed Clovis and an agent of the Aiylal fight. There was no earthly explanation for what they were capable of. For years, they traveled and trained, until the day came that the student had surpassed the master and she was sent off to live a solitary life as a protector of her realm.
With the forces of the Aiylal closing in around her, she must be stronger than all those that came before her. She alone is the key to stopping the forces of evil that would plunge the realms into darkness.
