Hi. This will be an everyday event for me from now on. Ive been joggling different ideas and I think Ive got something really interesting so I can join this awesome contest with a clear mind about the goal. It will be a wardancer by the name of Aiko, which means beloved child in Japanese. I will bring her in leaning towards anime features but realistic and I will try to convey all I see in my mind. I have many goals with this, but working hard and enjoy are the most important. So, lets get to it.

hey!, Im working in Zbrush a little on her face and trying to figure out her features while having a little fun with it. I want the young, stylistic anime demonear stand out. Its to early to say anything because I have one whole day left on the body or maybe even two. I want to get into the mealstorm of work, not really caring whether I will win or not. Ill do my best. There are some really nice characters on the thread. Comments and crits are always welcome.

basemesh created in Maya and Zbrush. We have the basic forms, and they will be detailed of course. THe important part is that she will be anime stylistic formed but with a realistic flare. Sort of like you are watching a good anime graphical novel. This is still low poly, around 20K, and for the Marmoset I will be keeping her low poly with normals maps insted, which will give me a good count because 20MB is not all that much. I guess around 400K or so. It should do fine if you think about it. If you have any experience with this topic, let me know. I would be grateful. There is still alot of work left on this body before exporting her to Maya for the rest of her gear.

Base model of the flashlight that will be set on her shoulder. It has to look cool but also be functional and technique wise it follows the gaze of the owner.

This little piece will be used in her sword as a heart of it. Im planning on putting in good work in it. This is just a small piece but I find that doing your best on every little detail gives you a satisfaction that is rare.

Camera is modeled. Its simple Maya modeling workflow, nothing extra ordinary except that it really is what I intended in form of technology. It will be attached to the vest and is around 7cm tall.

Aikos body. Still not near enough what I think it should be. Its my first female whole body so have mercy. Made in Zbrush.

Gun! It took me awhile but it is getting there. I have lots of ideas that I would like to implement with this character, but I need to rest a couple of days. To many thoughts bouncing around. DUring that time, I might take up some acrylic painting. Does it look ok?
