I am so psyched about this challenge!! And I have something special on my mind to surprise you guys. Never done anything even close to this character I am working on now.
I have the overall idea in my head. Found some pretty interesting references that I will post tomorrow. And today I started with the silhouettes and sketches, so I will post them too as soon as I can. Also WIPs along the way, on which I would love to hear your thoughts.
For now just the hero personality characteristics. And there are two, wont tell you why just yet.
1. Cute, Friendly, Loving, Loyal, Obedient, Gets Annoyed Easily
2. Strong Minded, Has Integrity, Driven, Ambitious, Confident, Leader, Determined, Resourceful, Engaging

Here is the sketch for the 1. Youngling 2. Queen, and both of them to their actual size. I will use this as a reference for modelling and make the necessary changes then, because I am much better at modelling than sketching. I want to hear what you guys think, good things, bad things, any questions about the characters. I would love a discussion.

Here is the v001 model of the Youngling. I did some changes to it from the sketch, decided to add wings to it and made the eyes smaller.
Working on the UV next. Then the queen model.

Have been working for a while on this Queen model. Also I have made some modification on the Youngling model. I will post some details of the Queen model too.
