Starting in on her accessories I thought I'd put some work into her gun. I wanted something heavy looking, something she could smack a baddie in the head with and make a god impact. I designed a hybrid double barrel pistol with an anaconda inspired barrel. Can't wait to give it a pass in Substance!

Anaconda is a good choice If I may suggest, you can improve this heavy feeling by scaling the double canon. This will aligned the bullets too.

Hmm while I cobble away at her accessories I need to start figuring out my colour scheme. I had #3 in mind when I started Vik but I am very on the fence about this.

1 looks like a solid choice to me for skin color, really appealing, but perhaps mixed with the clothes from 5 to give it less of a muddy look.

I have been very busy for the past couple of weeks - really need to get the base sculpt done! Big push on accessories and clothing this weekend. Here's a shot of her shorts and shirt, hopefully more updates coming soon!

Very nice!! Clever idea on the pants where her tail(? not sure what to call it) comes out, I was a bit skeptical of the way it would look at first, but I love it!

I love the way you did the bottom edge of the shorts where the fabric is rough/cut. Can I ask how you did it?

Thank you I definitely made a challenge for myself with her rump (I also do not know what to call it haha). I used a combo of snake hook, and a brush I downloaded from ... somewhere badking maybe? called LES_ClothFray curve. Basically lays down all the little fibres that stick out. then I did a pass overtop of that with a damage alpha to muss it up a bit extra

Working on more clothing - going to make her tool belt, holster and I'll add the hard surface parts in after a pass in Maya (gun, armband screen, etc)

But on a real note sculpt is coming along very nicely so far! The cloth is a really nice meld of stylized macro folds with realistic flow
