I feel comfortable building the form in Maya to me its faster to get the proportions utilizing the grid and roughly blocking the over all shape of the body, arms and legs.

im using my images to guide me

I will do the head , hands and foot later on i just put placement geometry to give me a sense of proportions. After blocking I will be taking this into zbrush.

I've smooth out my block mesh

After using move brush and inflate and looking back and forth at my reference to get a good mesh to work on. Prepping it for sculpt.

Time to Sculpt !

Sculpting from reference. I went and google fit women and from my own artwork and i have anatomy books at home to look at as well.

Hands and body today. Getting the hands from Maya started out as a cube primitive and taking it to zbrush.

One finger was enough to make the rest of the digits. Attached it and worked on the rest of the day in zbrush.

I think i'll dynamesh and project all to transfer details its not a lot of detail so its all good.

Tackling the head

Trying to get the down planes and up planes, major stuff like the eyes and nose and mouth will be and always looking at my references.

I can really start sculpting from here on.

Blocking the ear using a sphere

Sculpt! Sculpt! while looking at one of many references..

I will be doing the ear separate i feel comfortable doing it this way then I will re-attach it to my head sculpt later on.

Sculpt! Sculpt! Sculpt!...

Here's a few of my references I've gathered especially the brow area and eyes. I've sculpted some placement hair. I may use it ... don't know yet. I could spend hour to days on this but I'm quite satisfied of how she is looking I gotta move on. Also I could always come back.

Been busy lately but heres an update! ARMOR!

Wasn't sure if I may get flagged so just in case I censor.

This is looking better and better. Hopefully you can finish in time(maybe I should look at myself lol) Keep up the good work. The anatomy is good and I;m liking the face. It's cool to see your references. Quick question, when you were doing the face, did you set the reference on another monitor or did you have it to way your showing them in the one picture with your reference over onto the side?

Thanks. I have 2 monitors but when I sculpt I would have it side by side as shown to compare on the fly I feel uncomfortable looking over on another monitor constantly as I sculpt I rather have it all in one screen. I hope I finish in time as well lol good luck on yours
