A little question about composition, dont you think that put him to the center of the image will make it a little bit more informative? (he looks to the right, and tha story comes there, but the left part looks a little bit empty)

Beautiful rendering! Idk how far along with the background you are but I do think it could benefit from some fleshing out. I wouldn't understand from just this picture that he's helping the forest grow, or that it was even barren and dead in the first place. It also just needs something to fill that negative space and help the eye
