Cool designs! As far as what a beekeeper would look like, 1 and 4 make the most sense to me.

1 or 4 for me too, but looking at them I wouldn't think they were bee keepers

Variation Phase
First of all I want to say thanks to those who left me feedback and support here
and on my social media. Seems like the majority of you feel strongly about the headpiece,
as well as suggested that the design should look more floral and bee like.

At this stage I'm narrowing my design down to what I think would work for the character.
Next i'll be doing the final concept art for this character to figure out all the details before
moving onto the illustration phase. I'm hoping I'll have it done within a few days so I can start
my illustration as soon as possible.

This just keeps getting better and better! I think I really like n°2! But they're all so good!!!

You're welcome! Always happy to see your updates!

1 and 4 are my favourites xD

Final Design Phase WIP
I want to make sure I know what her armor looks like before moving on.
This is taking longer than expected but I think it'll save me time in the end.

Geez time went by so quickly... I really hope I can make it in time

lovely stuff :3
I'd just be careful you don't take away too much of the cool stuff from your previous sketches. it feels like alot of the shapes the broke up the silhouette have been removed or made smaller so she just feels less interesting than those previous designs (which i think are fantastic btw)

It's definitely looking good, but again I would never ever think this is a bee keeper from her outfit. Probably more of a witch honestly or something from Bloodborne lol I'm excited for your final piece! (yes time is ticking lmao)

I find it hard to complete illustrations from scratch to finish without failing a lot. The only one time I did a full illustration is a fan art of a character from Aion, but it took me 2 months back and forth. This time I'm trying to reinforce what I've learned last time and apply it. It's especially hard because the design is my own, also its a full splash instead of a bust drawing. As hard as it is, I'm learning a lot and I think I can pull it off with even more effort.

Illustration Phase: setting up Heavy WIP
In this stage (the hardest stage imo) I'm mostly setting up layers and moving things around
to see what works for the final image. I will adjust the design as I go to make her more "bee-like".

The next step would be to color the image and add more lighting to it after everything is clean and properly set up. I'm hoping to complete this step on the 1st, leaving at least 5 days for rendering and adding details.

It's looking great!!! And you can do this!!
Good luck!!

You can definitely do it, and being able to do something like this will likely open your horizons even more to bigger and bigger pieces. The bust shot is beautiful, but it won't be nearly as impressive as your ability to complete a large full scale piece
