Super excited! I'm planning on being more diligent this year!

Name change! I want to call her "Deepwater Medusa" now but unsure how to change the topic name,

A fractured marble statue, trapped under water for hundreds of years gains sentience... oh no!

Thanks for another great year, this was per usual, super fun to do!

Preliminary idea sketch! Will expand more on this over xmas break! General idea is a fractured marble statue among an underwater wreck brought to life with water.

For some reason when I saw the name I thought marble as in the little spherical object. This is really cool, though, already!! I love the silhouette and the mix of shapes language.

@nantianmu Thank you! Yeah, the marble word has many meanings it sounds a bit silly - I want to maybe use it as a pun in the future once I fully develop the character.

@Faulken Ohhh! I like it very much! The potential for breathtaking illustration for such a character is simply huge! Wish you luck in this, and I will definitely keep my eyes on your progress!~

cool design so far! love the floating pose too!

Ah I got too excited and went straight for the posing! I think this will save me some time and I will detail and develop the character out from here! Sorry the quality of my sketches are always pretty bad OTL

Oh gosh your design is so cool !
I love the head and the tentacle things, especially for the movement.
The fishes are soo cuuuute btw <3

Also on you composition, you should put your character a little bit down, as right now I have the impression that you character stand on the fish. If you put her a little bit down it will be clearer that the fish are on the foreground.

Keep up the good work she's amazing !

Hello everyone! Sorry for the radio silence, I had several things come up in my schedule and I had to push working on this until late so I didn't have the time to update! Super sorry, but I managed to finish it, in the nick of time!

@Oceane_Roh Ahh I just noticed that, I'm sorry I didn't read your comment earlier OTL I added a bit of transparency to the fish so you can see her foot poking out from behind it which I hope negates the standing on fish thing XD
@nesokaiyoh Thank you so much!

The perspective is good, glad you came back to finish it!

The fish effect is impressive!!
