Perhaps you should paint using more references, painting really what you see. For now my favourite is the lava lava girl so far. It would be awesome to see the flow of the lava inside of your character
A fire woman, period. I like the no bullshit concept.
Perhaps you can have a look at Cinder from the video game Killer Instinct, simple and efficient (in term of design and movement).

I think this concept is good for showing her forms more clearly, but also I think it’s a little bit to much. What do you think? But I like the pure magma hands
Following the transclucent design more but making it like a thin layer of liquid fire, where you can make out just a little bit of her insides

I guess you could go with a mixture ofboth. A thin fire veil over a crackled lava body ? This could give some really interesting transparency and a lot of nice opportunity for variations and details.

Yes they do work ! But you could push them further, play with the lava aspect and the eye, the hair. You could add very dark purple obsidian as jewellery
I'd study some lava, and different types of magma you'll be surprised just how many textures there is in one form of element like this. It explodes, bubbles, boils, rips apart in solids and liquids due to temperature changes, there are so many things you can incorporate which aren't just the same texture! Go and look at some exploding volcanoes!

With this one I explored the idea of her “skin” melting away with the Center being her very hot heart
So this is her with the lava layer on and without kind of like how real lava works she “sheds” her Skin of. And under it is a lot of heat and Energy. Maybe she could use the lava Layer as a sort of weapon idk gonna sleep for now.
