Regarding the head of the shaman. I dont know why but it feels a bit small, maybe it's the headress.

If I have a comment to make, on your sketch I have the impressionthat your character and his opponent were facing each other and I think this is really cool !
On your final illustration I kinda have the impression that your shaman is just playing guitar and his opponent come behind him with a surprise attack.
But anyway that's a really good job !

maybe scale and lift the head up a bit? he doesnt have much room for a neck. Unless you intended for it to be that way. The render of the skin is looking really awesome though!

This looks amazing so far. Is the dude in the back going to be like a wave? Or tsunami? Having a really dark gradient from the bottom to the top almost like he's actually part of the ocean would contrast well with the lightning and the character!
Yes, he is a part of the sea or ocean, the water elemental. His tail will smoothly flow into the background water. Well, this is according to plan, in the process everything can change)
