I like the one on the far right! although i think the tail on the first one is pretty cute- seeing that incorporated into the far right design, i think that might be interesting.

as for me, the most interesting are 1 and 4 in line A
and 3 in line B

i think if i had to pick a favorite i really like B3
A3 is pretty wholesome 
maybe just start paint and see what works.. soo many thumbs that its hard to chose.. thats just me.

@fredrik am afraid loose many time if I start without clear final design and after half way decide change concept. so yeah, its really hard to chose from such many variants but it need it 
I think A4 has lots of potential, but that might just I like weird and twisted anatomy lol
I'd go for B1 myself as I think it makes the best silhouette.

the main idea is based on this phenomenon at the photo, when the lightning strikes a tree and it starts burning from inside 
thinking about dryads as victims for this illustration
