Im going with fire. My idea is to create a warrior / battle mage in fire enchanted heavy armor. Not sure about his final look yet but I will figure this out

I think you can get more fire look into the shapes of the armor so he seems more of the fire element. Slick start though with the bulkiness.

Thanks. These sketches are explorations, not design progression. I don't decide yet how he will look like at the end so horns can come back... or not. We'll see.
D (not feeling the pauldrons though) stands out, B looks cool too, nice work, concepts look great, nice and clean.
For now I decided to go with this one. Still have some things to figure out with armor design but this is my guy.
I've made also some first composition thumbnails.
