Haha he's looking pretty great. I can't help but smile at his tiny beak - and his weapon looks awesome!

@ryanchan10101 @KoraxArt @nesokaiyoh Thanks guys! I'm really glad you're enjoying him :smile:

Here's the final front view concept. I rushed it a bit because I want to move to the illustration, so I might change some things as I go. But it should more or less be it. The beach ball on his back is actually a water tank connected to his crab-canon arm, just in case that wasn't too clear :sweat_smile:

He looks a lot like that ripped penguin from Surf’s Up

I love it. It's funny and cool looking. The beach ball is nice twist. Can't wait to see it in it's final form. Should be great 👍

There's not much time left and I'm kind of slow, so I don't want to go for something too complex, so here's a what I'll probably be going for. I might change some things as I go along

Wow I love the design of the claw! Your penguin looks like he's ready to kick some butt :grin:

This is amazing and I still love his face lol

Oh my god this is the funniest project I've seen, keep it up ! :smile:

@nesokaiyoh @Oceane_Roh @mr_dessin Thank you all :smile:

Here's where I am right now. I still need to figure out what to do with the background, probably some sort of beach since he's a beach defender. And also I need to correct the perspective on the arm and find a design for the monster he's shooting.

Hopefully I'll manage to do all that in time :sweat_smile:

I would assume he's pointing that gun at the shark right? Currently it looks a bit disjointed, there does need to be something between them connecting them in the composition, and the gun's perspective could be changed to point at the shark correctly (that's if I'm even reading it right lol)

I am curious tho, what are his trousers being held on by with? his feathers? xD

@nesokaiyoh Yeah, you're reading it correctly. My goal was to have him shoot the shark with a water jet, but the angle of the arm is not right. I guess another solution would be to change the position of the shark. I'll have to think a bout that.

As for the trousers, he'll have suspenders (I think that's what they're called) holding them. I just haven't painted them yet XD

Oh okay, honestly you can fix the perspective pretty easy, although it would involve some repainting of the gun itself as it's at a completely different angle than you want it to be, but facing more towards the camera should fix the entire problem :smiley:

I didn't feel like repainting the arm, so I changed the creature's placement instead. I thought that making an octoshark would be more interesting than just a straight up shark. At this point I don't really know what I'm doing anymore :laughing: I'm just trying to have fun

Lol that shark's expression is priceless, no teeth?

Thanks! No he will have teeth, I just forgot to paint them XD

OH MY GOD, everytime I see your piece it because more and more funny the octoshark is amazinh ahah
