ProcreateSketches and Zbrush + blender base for composition and lighting.
All will be overpainted so this will be 2D project.
Looks really fun so far! Kinda getting a vague gorilla vibe from his build so far, which is cool and a bit different I think. Looking forward to seeing more of this guy.
Thanks Holly! Indeed gorilla was big part of my inspiration as well as the tree growing from creatures back. Nice to hear that, I will post more soon. Already got some nice story for the image composition yesterday.
More progress here. Tried to get the protectiveness into a picture. Also tried to give this illustration some story, that is what the archer on the corner is for. Alright, I think this will have to do for the big issues. I'm running out of time so I better to start rendering now.
It is coming up somehow. I can still spare a couple more hours rendering it.
Slightly moar rendering. Added Logo. I still have tomorrow evening to fix stuff and render some more. I would highly appreciate any feedback. What u think needs most fixing here?
Alright that’s it! Pity I noticed this great competition so late, would have liked to give some more time for this. However it was loads of fun and enjoyed it. I started this with photoshop and I had to finish this on the go with iPad and procreate. But it is done! What a great entries from everybody , good luck all. Already looking forward to art war 5!
