Here is my warrior lady in full color; and the winner is.... the one in the middle.
The deadline approaches so I better hurry with the composition and final painting.

This are the thumbnails for the final illustration.
I learned a lot of composition thanks to a tutorial by Stèphan Wootha.

This is the composition I've choesen for the final piece. I'll have to work extra hours this weekend if I want to finish the piece on time.
Happy painting.

This is the final line drawing and a work in progress of the value structure.
Hope you like it, comments and crits are welcome.

Really cool design. I like the pose in your illustration too. Looking forward to seeing it finished!

Thank you danrob, I'll give it all to have a nice finished piece.

Black and white values are finished, it's time to start with the color part.
Wish me luck guys.
Thanks for your likes.

This will be the color palette I'll be using, I want to play with the green-pink side of the color wheel with a little splash of warm light. Time to render lots of stuff.

Starting to render the girl and guy on the floor.
I like the direction this is taking :)

I chose lightning as the main force used by my heroine, she is the highest rank general of the "Sons of the Dark Thunder" and constantly she has to take action before enemies from fire clan overrun the temple of the Eternal Thunder.

I wanted to show an imposing curvy woman who is badass and an elite warrior at the same time. The aesthetic approach is futuristic and I mixed some prehispanic elements with high-tech materials taking care of not oversaturate with details and elements.

It was a ton of work designing the character and composing the illustration but at the end of the day I learned a lot in the process.

I'm very happy to submit this entry, it's my first time as a contestant.

Good luck to all of you guys!

I forgot to put the logo, I think is not mandatory but it looks pretty cool. :P
