. I clarified the details of the character a little. Made the pattern on the cloak harder. Made the flute design.
Made some color sketches. This is not for the final illustration, but simply to understand the character and create the basis for the future color scheme.

I love 4, and 1 could really work well too. If you're going with 4 I'd love to see some colour variation a little like the others just to give some depth in that water!
