So I decided to change my mind on what I want to do for this contest. I first want to share that I feel i got caught up in this online digital contest hype and started doing something more a less predictable. it's not like bad and I do plan on finishing the tree guy after the contest on my own terms. I reevaluated what kind of art I like and what I want to make. I would rather be unique so I'm just going to do that. I hope everyone is having a good time making amazing art.

so after doing some more work i ended up going back to my original idea and went with the shining star spell. now things are starting to feel uniform in terms of color and it's much simpler and pleasant on the eye this way I think.

Interesting that you made a complete 180 with your other idea, but I can understand feeling the need to produce something like that for the hype of a contest. I hope you're enjoying this one more! It certainly feels to have a bit more passion in it this time around, her dress design is lovely
I am enjoying this way more then if I was to do the"expected" . everyone is going to do like LOL style, or MTG, WOW or something like that. I'm glad you like my dress design. i saw your entry, you're the fire god dude. That masterpiece is looking way dope.
Another update and another break b 4 i get back to working on this. its come pretty far. 
morning update. Everything looks pretty good. i just want to add some subtle spell effects and help out a few background spots. if i have time ill be adding some flowers in the grass to break up some shapes. i still have to come up with a name too. ha
Ahh it means a lot that you recognised him, thanks! And yes I can agree, but it's not surprising when those are so popular too xD I really love those styles, but I will always side on what's more enjoyable to the individual. I hope you can finish before the deadline
