So I am thinking of trying that one out too to see if I like it in the final draft!
I am thinking that I might have difficulties making number 6 look good in my idea but we'll see!

Thanks! Yep, it seems 6 is definitely a favorite!
I will put them all on her in the draft I have and see what I think!
Will share them here too when it's time.
I just wasn't quite satisfied with her original set.

Her original set design clashed a lot with her actual outfit, when you have horns that size and shape you can't have big shoulder designs or collars as the horns would both clip through them as well as just not look good, so I'm glad personally you decided to change them. The overall shape language of the 6th also looks more fiery so I think it suits her more!

Yes I noticed while sketching around that it did give me big problems and that it wouldn't work for attacks and such that I planned for her!
So now I scribble around with 5 and 6. 6 is turning into my favorite too because in the larger picture number 5 might not be very present anymore as they cling to her head a lot!
We will see

Quick note for myself before I forget it.

I am thinking of working on my thumbnails and incorporating the sun in the final illustrations as that is what her people worship.
Would add another dimension to the artwork for sure.

5 is great! But yes I want them to still be a very important point in the picture and 5 would probably a bit small for that sadly!

Ahh nice it's coming along great! I would suggest to change the colour of the background/sky though and either make it cooler in tone to offset and contrast with the fire or have it harmonise hue wise. I think with it being so dark just behind her as well she's blending into the background and has lost silhouette and detail.

I was thinking a lot what bg colour I could take and couldn't settle on one yet. I think I will make it darker. Maybe take some reference as to what area she is in and go from there.
I will def make it cooler now tho and try to make her more the center of attention!

Well, going on colour theory I would choose a muted teal or green. A blue could work too since it's complimentary to the orange. And for her to stand out against an even darker background you should give her more focus and light bounce from the fire! I don't know if you just haven't added any yet, but with fire so close it would reflect a lot on herself. I did another quick paintover just to show you what I mean!

I honestly LOVE the teal. I feel bad for you giving me so much advice here. That I didn't think of teal myself ... Ahh.
But thanks. Yes I will make it reflect more and maybe make the gear way more reflective as I like when there is bright highlights. I just have to see if it would fit to the whole composition....
Will continue working on it soon.
