Can’t wait to see this with values.

Started working on values, having a lot of fun with it, it's coming along nicely

I'm gonna leave this here, in case anyone is interested in watching me create this.

Rendering of the sorceress is done, now to spend countless hours on that storm elemental...

Really nice. It reminds me of a D&D illustration...in a good way

@phume10 Thanks, I have been doing a lot of dnd illustrations this past year, so I guess it's rubbing off on me

As I expected it's taking forever, but some progress has been made.

Ahh I love where this is going. if you want some critique though (unless you're going to do it anyway) the values could be exaggerated, you have a lot of mid tones but not very many darks or highlights. This could really help it pop! The texture of the storm is starting to look really awesome! Are you going to put some lightning into the cloud monster too?

@nesokaiyoh Oh yeah I'm gonna mess with the contrast and stuff at the end, I do like to not go to the extreme when I do the rendering and adjust it as needed. And yeah the storm dude will have lightning coming from it, there's still a lot of work to be done!

Sounds good then! I think this could definitely be a really powerful piece if you pull off making the storm as big and ferocious as it could be

Right, I've rendered the cloud shapes, it's currently quite flat, but will add lightning and add some depth to him to make it more 3D so to speak.

I absolutely love the texture of the storm, it really does feel like a storm. That face too damn, really intimidating

@nesokaiyoh Thanks, it turned out pretty cool, I've worked more on it now!

Worked more on the storm elemental, added some particles and effects for a more stormy feeling, colors and final touches are next and we're done!

And here it is! It's mostly done, I will go back to it and just fix up some tiny imperfections and details, had fun with this one!

I know you could still definitely push those darker values, and even make the lighting brighter! But either way it looks so good and it's been great seeing you work on it

Here's the final image, adjusted it polished it up a bit, I'm happy with it, thanks for all the feedback everyone!

Wowowowow I can't believe I've missed your post. You've done an amazing job !
