Through meditation with the old monk, the prince learned to extract the fire inside him and control it out side his body.
I like to start with a quick sketch of the characters face, just so I can get to know him/her a little better.

My Hero is gonna be in defend mode, so I'm tempted to turn this into an ambush drawing (since it's war). Not sure if it should be "mermaids" or more "sea snakes"
