I am glad you went with the green fire in the end, it's not a big change but it does dramatically alter the feel in a good way, bit more unique

I'm using Krita to work and I recently found out about the gradient maps. They help a lot and I wish I had found them sooner

Sometimes it's better to have a couple days off, a break. Helps gather your thoughts together and gives you a fresh new look on it

One more Step to the final work. I'm pleased with the composition so far but the colors seem a bit weird to me. Still need to do some highlights and adjustments to the color.

I present to you Valder, the Living Flame, the undead knight whose soul is still attached to his armor, burning in search for revenge.
I think I'm done with the illustration now. I've done as best as I could and it was a very fun project. A thank you to everyone who gave their opinions

I think the part i like the most of the design is the sectioned glowing sword

Thank you! I like the sword a lot and kinda regret that it doesn't show more, but this was the pose that was really speaking to me, so the blade suffered for it.
