The seed of life, which, scientifically speaking, is just the single interstellar asteroid that seeded life on earth roughly 600M years ago.
It appears to be "protected & shielded" by a mystical earthen construct of unknown origin. Making the seed nearly impossible to discover or retrieve.
Until recent times, the advancement of human technology is starting to pose a challenge for the guardian to defend its sacred duty.
