No worries, there's nothing bad in taking breaks, you have plenty of time left so take it ! Don't be afraid, if you mess something up you can always go back or even start over, but I'm sure you'll come up with something badass 
The subtle intricacies are a bit hard to make out in those thumbs, but the general gesture and composition all look really interesting

I'm trying to add them, but everything I tried weakened the composition 
They add many points of interest and kinda drive the eye away from the monster 
Maybe reduce the number of hydromancers? Or keep them in bunches so they're not scattered across the composition too much?
