Upps almost forgot to post what i did yesterday, not used to posting work in progress. Modeled the face pretty far before starting to block out the body, that`s how i usually start.


So gotten far enough on the body for now to start blocking the clothes. The hair is a test and is made in blender. I guess I did not mention that I`m use zbrush in the last post, gonna jump between that and Blender going forward and substance painter at some point. I like the hair but it will probably be redone when I give the character a pose. The head and neck part are still separate from the body and so are the arms, saving the hands for later, now to blocking.


Started to block the dress, but realized that I needed to know how big the generators and battery's are before that. First used just cubes but that did not give me a real scale. So I just started to make the final ones, in Blender. Was not gonna make them super detailed, the rubber corner protect things and the generator box(?) are the only part that I quickly worked on in Zbrush. The plan is to add some detail in Substanse Painter, later, maybe, have never really done that before . Some mesh part are gonna be copy past-ed later, I just want them to share UV space, so no point of doing it now.


Imported her to Blender and blocked good chunk of the clothes, wanted to get more done today, oh well. Having most of the shapes be cylinders it seamed easier to do it in Blender, than zbrush. Some parts like the shirt and the skirt are gonna be used as base meshes later in Zbrush, so I put more detail in them. But some parts like the mechanical arm is pure placeholder.


Did not sleep well last night and had a lot of other things to do before continuing on this project. So did not feel to make any big decisions regarding the hole charterer so started to working on her shoe(s), made the bottom of the shoe in Blender and the rest in Zbrush, still WIP but not gonna add to much before i add the sabaton.


Made The sabaton. Then the winged hussars arrived.



Robot arm and its armor made in Blender, gonna improve it in Zbrush later, but i think it looks grate already. I think I`m gonna make the hands next, at least I should, but I might be distracted, we will see.


Made a hand, took far too long to make, but I`m still getting the hang on anatomy. Not that it maters but i made a right hand instead of a left one............
