Bit of an update on the head and making some rough placeholders for some of the props. The Zsphere through the head is going to be a tree branch growing through his head.

Some more work on the body and head, playing around with what to do for the waist. If i do stick with the belly armor thing it might be a good place to put the emblem, we'll see I guess

Been a while since my last update but I'm still chugging along after taking a bit of a holiday last week. Starting to texture the skin and doing some test renders in arnold. I still have so much to do and not a lot of time left, starting to freak out a little lol.

Progress update, still texturing and a little bit of modelling for the belt area and the guy he's gonna be holding up. Might need to fix a couple textures and dirty up the skin more, hopefully I'm gonna have time. Not long left now

Most things are in the scene now, just need to do some look dev, add hair and add some moss to him. Not 100% sure how I'm going to do that yet but theres no better time to learn than right at the last minute

Finally done, geez. Had a lot of fun with this challenge and learnt a ton so thanks to cubebrush for hosting it and everyone else for inspiring me with your awesome entries! I would've liked to fix some things on this guy (mostly the moss) but he'll have to do since I'm already cutting the deadline pretty fine as it is.

Thanks, I havent seen that movie but its at the top of my list now i watched the trailer and saw all the messed up creatures in it
