Thank you! I do have Marmoset toolbag, however I've not used yet. I'm aiming to finish both the modelling + details +polypaint in the next two weeks (hopefully!), which will give me two weeks to learn the basics and get a nice finish! Ideally I would want to use substance too, but I also need to learn how to use that too.
Awesome reference by the way!
@marianoeliceche thank you so much!
@glubglubz Thanks, the bones have been such a fun part of the design! I've got some more coming I'm going to be working on it for the rest of the evening so I'll post some more renders later
I've been exploring bow designs, material etc. I do know that having the bow follow the same language as the legs and arms the focus points would be lost. So I've decided it to be a traditional, simplistic wooden bow. Which lead me to think about other aspects of the design that I wanted to include, like spirits/magic!
Also I've been working on the vines arms/hands adding more structure with bones gradually getting the vines finished and ready for detailing + texturing.
Here are a few test renders! (renders done in keyshot)
Any suggestions or feedback is always welcome!
Refining the hands and arms, gradually working through each vine-y part. A little tedious but the finish is worth it! I aim to have the vines complete mid weekish, so I can focus on Gaia.
