For my entry I wanna make a magical girl and since the original and best is Sailor Jupiter I chose Lighting as my element. I'll be doing both the transformation and a regular outfit (if that is allowed).
Started with the regular outfit to get a feel for the character but will begin modeling the magical girl one first when the concept is done.
This is a pretty cool concept. I'm very curious about how you'll use the regular outfit in the final image/scene. If you just want to make it as a complement (and fun), well that's also nice.
I have some ideas about how to utilize them both (if done) that I will share at a later point if it becomes relevant. Anyway this is my basic concept for them both, my tablet is acting up so it's kinda a pain to use photoshop now but I will elaborate on this concept more.
