Great work ! great painting skills ! I would say the brighter sky worked better with the highlights on your character, the darker overcast doesn't match those highlights, it makes your character feel out of place, which didn't happen with the brighter sky.

The design is nice, without even looking at the colors, you can see where she's from with the shapes, clothes and textures.
