Okay, I've given it some thought and narrowed it down a bit.
I'm going to be creating a Sorceress Priestess of SEKHMET, Eyptian God of War and Healing
Started creating a refsheet
Interesting theme

Ah man, I was going to do Sekhmet. So cool. Maybe I'll go with her sister instead. Looking forward to see what you come up with.
Main rough in established.
Happy with the pose/premise, things I'll probably improve:-don't like that it feels like two kinds of magic-background is a little plain-clothing is temp, especially top-might want a weapon instead for the hand on the left
Next up is deep dive into specific areas and the character sheet
Wow that's a good start. The concept and those values are on point.
So I wasn't super happy with how flat the previous comp was so I wanted to do another few sketches. Here's another take. I feel like I miss having the multiple snakes as in the previous version so I may try to find some more ways to integrate those again if I can make it work.
Alright tweaked a few more things, added another snake. I'd like to get a 3rd one in there if I can.
That's a cool start! If you want a 3rd snake, maybe you could add it on her shoulders with it's head rising between the sickle and the main character's head?Whatever you choose - it seems like a fun angle! Good luck!
I also think more than one snake looks better 🤔😄

For me the left one seems more Egyptian, maybe bc of the geometric lines and forms?
I've been totally sleeping on this, and now I only have 2 weeks left! I'm gonna stick to my original comp, both for time reasons and also because I felt like the emotion was coming across well.
This will still be the original full image, I just cropped the above as a WIP
