So The character I created gets called the pied piper, because of his magical music abilities. He is a dangerous warrior which can control or manipulate his enemies with the tunes of his flute. In his youth, he was a popular young musician but his fellow musicians turned their back on him and tried to kill him. Badly wounded and disfigured he swore revenge And driven by hate and vengeance he searched for any ability or weapon to kill them. after many years he would eventually sell his soul to the devil to get his magical flute but he has to stay in this world forever and no matter how bad he gets wounded he can't die and would have to feel the pain forever. After years The piper found his old fellow musicians and faced them in a little pub. He started playing as loud as he could. It was a beautiful tune and no one would make a sound as they hear him play it and even when he made his tormentors leave the pub on all fours like some kind of animals no one could make a sound nor realize what just happened. He played and played and played until they left the city. while they crossed the streets they tried to curse him and wish him painful things but nothing came out of their mouths but squeaks. It was just like they were rats. After they left the city he played them into the deep floating river. No one saw them ever again. That's why he gets called the pied piper and every time someone tells his story it sends chills down the spines of the listeners.

It's inspired by the classical german folktale character. But I took some parts to create my own character.

my reference board for the project

So interesting character so far... Also I like his pants, very European, and colours of the flag fits them perfectly!

Gogo Germany! looks really nice. And I like the fact that he is carrying Grimms Märchen around.

so here is a bit downscaled version of my illustration. You guys think i can call it finished ?

I like the composition and the enemy  I probably would try to set the background more apart from the character, bc they're basically the same color tones. Maybe you could make the char more pop with some contrasts.

thanks for the feedback I will try it ^^
