As a Filipina, I'm taking inspiration from the heroines who participated in the wars throughout Philippine history and creating a fierce Filipina warrior as tribute

As you can see I want to incorporate the traditional dress somehow and add hints of armour here and there and I also plan on including the national symbols somehow in the final product.

Fun fact: A unique feature of the Philippine flag is its ability to indicate a state of war by inverting it ( red side on top).
