If I don't stop making changes to my character I will never get to the next step, Here is the final design with the weapon he´ll be using for the battle. I am an amateur still and have never done thumbnails before so I am not very familiar with how they are supposed to look like jahja I want my character to feel a combination of sorrows, a bittersweet feeling because he just finished the battle and won but, got some very bad injuries and hard losses. He won but lost everything in the process. ( yet to define what was all he lost exactly jejeje)

So I have decided to change the pose and the feeling of the illustration since it was very dramatic and needed certain skills I still dont have hahah so I decided to do a more dinamic pose in which my hero has just received a very potent hit that took him out of balance, though he felt that, he is now recovering and trying to get grip to get back to battle, please let me know what you think

ok so here it is an improvement of what the first entry will be, Im just missing the weapon. now the real challenge is going to be to place all these details and stuff into the super dinamic and in perspective pose hahaha I hope I can get anything decent to this contest hope you guys have a great day

Thanks a lot, some of the parts didnt make me feel 100% comfortable until color was added and I already saw some things that might be changed like the legs position in the back view or the feet angle also from the back view jeje

ok so this si what I have now haha still lots to do, Im giving a faith jump with perspective since this is the first time doing somethinig this elaborated.

I am aware that it still looks very messy but once line art is complete and clean the idea can be seen much clearer.

Hey so here it is B/W version of my hero Yum Ook'iin (the father of the night). As mentioned before, he just received a hit that got him out of balance and now he is not just injured but furious. Lets see what he can do at full rage.

I'm presuming he's skidding backwards? Perhaps from being hit by someone? I don't know if having a hint or edge of another character in the foreground who dealt the hit would help the concept or just get in the way. Maybe try a quick scribble and see if it works or not? Also, your grass is pointing straight up, but don't forget you've tipped the horizon, so it should be leaning like the temple in the background.

Thanks a lot, actually he is being hit, to express that from a ilted point of view was one of the challennges I was looking for to beat, Im still looking for an option to make it more notorios but I havent found any without disrrupting the composition.

what you mentioned about the grass makes complete complete sense. I was not that confortable with it but never seemed to see what was wrong. Thanks a lot for pointing the hidden solución at plan sight. Thanks a lot, again. 🙏🏻

The deadline has been extended if you wanted to do any finishing touches! Maybe fill up that top left corner with something? Debris, or some loose feather from his costume?
