Just some character thumbnails, nothing fancy yet as these are meant to be viewed small. I wrote each element to combine into a structured drawing. I gave upon B because it's too mecha and would be hard to show some cultural things with that silhuetteI little history about Janissaries: They used a technique called the Ottoman slap against their enemies which caused concussion or even death. They trained on wet marble slabs to harden their hands and get the technique down. Hence I chose to add a mechanical arm so this dieselpunk janissary can slap his enemies into oblivion. Combined with the training this will prove to be a formidable weapon
"Ottoman Slap" sounds like a character from a fighting game like Guilty Gear or Street Fighter.

I like C version, just because of the "hat". I like those 2 different parts of different materials! You can easily combine a Turkish star\moon from B version to the center, and that central rhombus also)Googles makes it more interesting also)

I also like B2 - maybe you could change the value of the gem on the top, it's a bit distracting in my opinion when the eyes are kind of white, too
Yes, dimming the gem would be a good choice but these are ultimately sketches, not final and probably won't refining these to save time. The changes will be made when I'm doing the turnaround

I didn't want to come across as defensive lol I replied like that so you don't feel like I didn't care when I won't be making changes on this for now. I value the community feedback
