Character Description
This is Ani Macule, a German frontline scientist fighting with her X-Ray technology. Her idol is Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, a German physicist who discovered X-Ray in 1895. She uses her ability to assist medical teams at the frontline or to microwave her enemies. Although, she has to carry one big and four smaller batteries with her, she's pretty mobile.
Design Decisions
As you can see and read in this thread, my initial ideas where completely different from the final version. As I am not a great concept artist, I wanted to focus on finding shapes, forms and meaning while designing her. Doesn't make any sense, I know but here I am. Probably only Germans know this but the German flag colours are black, red and gold (not yellow). So I want to stick to that as closely as possible. Of course I could go fully stereotypical with her design but I liked the idea of a scientist way more. Anyway. Hope you like it. Looking forward to all the other amazing entries.
Shout out to my friend Mattis Heisler who gave me valuable input for designing her armor parts, as I am not really comfortable with hard surface/tech stuff.
