Inspired by the Balinese Culture I picked Indonesia as Country.
My personal interpretation of Hanuman, the Monkey King. I used real statues from Balinese Temples as my references.
I introduced the colors of the Indonesian flag, white and red, in the flower on his ear which is a plumeria, a flower used in ceremonies and offerings, very typical in Bali.
By the other hand, I used the Keris as weapon, both weapon and spiritual object. The Keris is considered to possess magical powers and is a very characteristic and traditional from Bali, Indonesia.
All was modeled and sculpted in Blender, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Marmoset.
