I'm so excited to take part in another Art War! I wasn't able to finish on the last one, so that's my main goal with one. I'm going to have a ton of fun making this genetically designed astronaut warrior and repping my Canadian roots, good luck to everyone, I can't wait to see what people come up with. It would be cool to see the entries posed together in the end hah. Let's have a blast!

about 3 nights in on this guy, going to try and push him as far as I can in the next 2 days before work starts up again. I have a pretty flushed out idea of how I want the final character to look in my head. Trying to block in anatomy around the design as quickly as possible so it's still really rough

this is very interesting. I like the triangle shape going on for the characters silhouette right now.

worked on the proportions/silhouette and legs tonight. he was a bit too exaggerated V, so I toned him down into something a bit more plausible, but still extreme ^^

I went through a lot of iterations of how to construct the anatomy around the extra arms, ended up something I'm fairly happy with tonight ^^ I'm aiming for him to be "Terrifyingly Adorable"

more anatomy exploration, really liking this direction of heavy overlap and separation, should work well for what I have planned.

Ok the insertion of the second set of arms is feeling good to me, I'll tackle updating the front of the torso tomorrow

been crazy at work, so didn't have as much time to spend on this, but snuck in some time tonight ^^ The muscles are so important for this character for what I have planned, so I'm really taking my time on them. Still gotta do a proper pass on the arms, front torso and head. hoping to make some big progress on that tomorrow. This guy needs some clothes ^^

Amazing design! I love the way you reimagined his back anatomy to accommodate the extra limbs, great work! I found the overall design a bit more appealing when his legs were shorter.

ok! arms are pretty much good to go, just need a slight polish pass on the hand forms to make sure they'll read a bit better on the next stage. Snuck in a tiny bit of work on the head, added a uhhh... windscreen

Thank you @giagiastoons. I think I find the new legs more convincing and a bit more proportional though. he's a hefty dude, so I want to make sure his legs actually look like they can not only hold him up, but propel him forward at frightening speed
