So I'm joining 3D and using Blender and
Blender has an addon which I can automatically create humans, the add on is called Manuel Biastioni Lab. Is it ok if I use this addon to create my character(the human generated from the addon will be the exact model which I will use and show up in the final illustration, if allowed)? Or do I have to create/sculpt/model the human on my own from scratch?

@jcg to be safe, you should make your own base mesh.

You are free to use your own basemesh, but not somebody else's.

You could modify the blender model as much as you can to make it your own.

@jcg you can keep the same thread. Just change the name of your character. All updates can be in the same thread as long as you state which piece at the end is you final

@nevet yes, you can use photos for reference and the whole image needs to painted by you.
Look at the topics of other contestants to see how they do it

I have just read some laws for Queensland (Australia) and i found this part

Category 4 promotional games (trade promotions)
These are free entry draws conducted to promote goods or services
Any person may conduct a promotional game; however, they are normally conducted by businesses to promote the sale of products

I may have been reading the website wrong but by the looks of it, if there is no
entry fee it does not appear you need a license

but do I need to have a website, twitter and facebook to participate in this contest?
Or is my name for the personal information enough? I am asking because I wouldn't call my arstation a website and I have neither of the other socials.

@orchidkitty it's so that we can credit and present your work if we share your entry on social media.
Linking your Artstation is more than enough (if it shows your work it doesn't matter if it's 'your' website), but if you don't feel comfortable with that, you don't have to
