I hope this hasn't been asked before and I missed it,
but do I need to have a website, twitter and facebook to participate in this contest?
Or is my name for the personal information enough? I am asking because I wouldn't call my arstation a website and I have neither of the other socials.

@orchidkitty it's so that we can credit and present your work if we share your entry on social media.
Linking your Artstation is more than enough (if it shows your work it doesn't matter if it's 'your' website), but if you don't feel comfortable with that, you don't have to

question about using photoshop for the 3D contest. Is it allowed to use it for compositing, add stuff ( like smoke etc... ) ? Thank you !

Dimensions: at least 2048 pixels in height or width - format of your choice
This is THE image to display your character in all its glory. The character has to be 100% 3D, but the background can be whatever you want.

Hey, sorry for asking, but may I enter? i'm from Moldova Republic, since it's between Romania and Ukraine, and nobody usually knows there is a country between those two, i thought may be it is possible for me to participate? or may i use my friends location somewhere in Russia for example, if the miracle happens and i win somehing?

You can participate, but if you win, you will need to ask your friends to receive and send you the prices. Otherwise no problem!

Is it possible to create a character that splits into two characters, as in that is their ability? Or would that not count as having it being obvious who the hero is, despite them being the same character?

So I've looked into it (lightly) being a Queenslander and I can't seem to find anything on strict competition laws in QLD for 'games of skill' because this isn't a 'game of chance' (I mean, it's not a game but these are the main options)

What I did find though was:

Special category 3 games:
Must be a person intending to conduct a single art union for the welfare or benefit of individuals who need help because of a disaster or a disadvantaged individual
Gross proceeds are more than $5,000
Requires a special category 3 gaming licence [gaming as in gambling]

Category 4 promotional games (trade promotions):
These are free entry draws conducted to promote goods or services
Any person may conduct a promotional game; however, they are normally conducted by businesses to promote the sale of products
Read the Guide to category 4 promotional games
Does not require a licence

Trade Promotions in QUEENSLAND :

Businesses conducting Trade Promotions do not require a permit if there is no entry fee.

So from what I can tell, it must be shipping concerns to Queensland. Which I feel should only really apply to regional QLD - you know how big QLD is though. But thems the rules.

Can I participate knowing that I'll be disqualified (for being in shit country) ? If I play along and make a Artwar topic with my submissions , would I get banned ? I just wanna participate along with all the other guys XD seems super fun.

Like you mentioned, you wouldn't be eligible to win but yes, you can still enter. Have fun, learn and help others. You'll still learn a lot a grow just as much just by participating. Look forward to what you come up with.

It is clear that the character has to be one sided (either light or dark), but does this mean that it can't have any elements of the opposing fraction? Like dark warrior with light elements? Or this rule relates only to the side which the character is on?

@gavnarrr It must be clear from one look what side the character is. Rest is up to you. (:
For example, if your dark character collects angel halos as trophies, he can wear them on his belt.
