An update is in order i believe.
Ive been struggling a LOT with making this dude, especially armor-wise. ive decided to tone down the assymetry in the design (im not at a high enough level yet and need to understand the basics a lot better) and made a lot of progress on his outfit.
The great Nameless One took this human champion's face and permanently caged him in his own armor as a payment for his Gift of superior perception and might. Fell tentacles protect his hips, his hands get adorned with beastly claws, his armor contorts and opens up stone eyes allowing the champion to see as no other human has ever before. Lastly, and partly as a token he gets gifted with a mightly tail adorned with a barb akin to that of a ray, to signify his demonic pact. The champion's weapon of choice is his old Ranseur, which is still completely ordinary and reminds him of his life before his Pact.
So what's next? well, i want to start makign the armor feel like armor, which means making it metallic. ive never done that before, so i can only get better at it!
Before i do that tough i still have to add soem more places and details where i can add in bioluminescensce (Did i spell that right?) to have an extra link to that deep-sea-feel that is supposed to link back a bit to lovecraftian horror.
