Worked on the torso's design, feeling good at this point with minor tweaks to be expected at a later stage. My only fear is that the ornaments on the belly will be too distracting, will maybe tone them down later or just dull them down at the rendering stage.

Really nice decoration on this armour, It reminds me of something I think cubebrush actually said in one of his videos about how every single part of your design should be designed well enough to being interesting in it's own right.
Also I really like the looseness of the sketch you've got above, it so minimal but tells you everything about the pose and character of the King. Now the challenge is to carry that loose fluid feeling into an illustration

i love the sketch , it is very loose and fresh but you can more or less see where the character is going, and.. very nice armor design, realystic with some nice designs. keep it up man and GOOD LUCK

Thank you all for encouraging me, have had alot in school lately and I have not been able to put time into drawing unfortunately... Now that I have a grace period I will try to finish up this competition. Not aiming for the win or whatever, I just find it joyful to participate and to get some critizim and aknowledgement out of it

Here is the latest sketch from the concept sheet. I'm currently working on the illustration which will be my main focus to finish atleast, WIP will be coming up in about a day ish.
