I'm curious how the judging is being done, are the judges all giving scores independently or are they getting together in person or on skype or something to discuss it? I'd really love to hear their thoughts on all the entries regardless

Makes me think of this for instance http://community.cgcookie.com/t/lemon-maid-2017-contest-winners-announcement/8786
where the judges (Sycra, Jonathan Hamilton, Gawki, Tyler Johnson, Sean Price, Kikissh & Tim Von Rueden) deeply commented on a lot of pieces (even the honorable ones) and that's really helpful ! Not only for the creators of each artwork but also for every artists who's reading.

That's 2 or 3 contests they are doing this, and that's really really cool ^^
