Howdy! So, um... It's mostly going to be pretty girls and fantasy stuff here...but I'm working on branching out! Haha

I'll be putting up WIPs, finished products, and random doodles. Maybe the odd process vid, once I figure out a good way to do that! Anyway, here's some recent stuff.

Fan art for Keeper of the Lost Cities!

Original character, Yori the Eternal:

Fairy queen:

And amazingly NOT a girl... It's a desktop background for my brother with his OC, Captain Sullivan the explorer.

Welcome to the forums!

Awsome art. I see that you mix both 3d and 2d for these awesome pieces!
Looking forward to more!

Thanks man! What an awesome compliment ๐Ÿ˜Š Actually, there's no 3D in these. (Though I did photobash some of the scenery in the dino picture.) Everything else is just painted in Photoshop ๐Ÿ˜ More to come, for sure!

Hello and welcome! The colors are amazing, especially in the Fairy Queen piece

Hello and welcome!

Nothing wrong with pretty girls and fantasy! All I draw is ugly dudes and fantasy, so it balances out! :stuck_out_tongue:

That dragon has a cool design. Also you have a fairly interesting style. It must take you a while to achieve that sort of realistic/3D-ish look.

Anyway, I especially like the fairy queen and I'm looking forward to see how the mermaid piece will come out. So far it seems like it will be gorgeous. Keep it up!

Thanks @cedricgo! Yeah, paintings can take a while, especially when there are a lot of different textures involved. Still learning how to streamline the process

I'm glad you like the fairy queen! Hopefully the mermaid will turn out something like that once I finally get back to it. ^.^

Hi Jennifer, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!

The way you achieve that 3D-like feel with your paintings is really awesome, because everything is blended in well and doesn't feel 'out of place'.
I'm looking forward to how the mermaid piece will turn out :3

@soluxos Hi Celine! Thank you very much  Your art is gorgeous--congrats on making it into the mosaic!

Now that ArtWar is over, I finally got back to the mermaid...made some changes to the bodice and started on the fins today. I also threw in a place-holder background. Way far from finished, but it's nice to finally make some progress on this one after...three months, I think? :open_mouth: Yikes!

Fun fact: This was the first time I tried the mixer brush duplication technique. Took some trial and error, but ultimately it was really cool! I only drew one scale for her whole tail. Serious time saver

Hello again, after a really long hiatus! I was heads down doing client work for the last month or so, BUT--here's some art I made in my free time. (Poor mermaid got put on the back burner again  )

Hatsune Miku - collab with another artist (@sketchtoro) on Instagram. She drew the pencils, I digitally inked and colored. Really different style than my usual stuff, but it was fun to branch out.

What you you think? I've never done coloring quite this way before, so I'd love any critique you are kind enough to throw at me!

I also started taking a comic book creation class! So stay tuned for pages as I finish those up. Aaannnd eventually the mermaid. I promise I have not forgotten about her. ๐Ÿ˜
