Wow some high quality content in there!!! It has been my pleasure to surf through your sketchbook! I hope you will keep it up! Seeing rough animations is a refreshing change. I used to do some animation just to force my brain to think differently. Perhaps I should pick it back up again. I'm going to bookmark this thread! Love your work man!

@Dm7 Thank you very much! Comments like yours really help keeping my motivation up <3 You should really pick up animation again, even if it is only to study. It can get annoying sometimes but it's never wasted time because your brain has to be thinking all the time haha Cheers mate!

I have to try out some clay man looks so fun. Is there any reason your using the Roma Plastilina Clay? Ive been wondering what kind of clay i should get

@Paulo I watched the intro to sculpting on New Masters Academy and he recommended that one. I just needed one that will last very long and which is easy to form and doesn't stick to the tools as much/leaves stains. (The roma plastilina is a oil based clay which is really easy to form after it is heated. - needs an extra heater, which my father build me haha^^ -) I think there are 3 types of clay. Water based, oil/sulfur based and wax based. Didn't look far into it so I cant give you much detail on pros and cons.

Yeah i was looking for similar stuff. Anyway I just bought the Super Sculpey Clay cuz it had good reviews and i think its also oil based. I can't build a heat pistol but have an oven that should be ok

I love your lines, they are so nice and free.. And your drawings are just beautiful! Be careful, though, because I notice a trend in your characters that the eyes are a bit too low on the face. Good stuff, I can't wait to see more!

Was going through a lot of personal issues and I'm hoping that I can regain the pace that I got when I started this

Damn almost 100 days have past. I am already at daily sketch #711

Well let's get to the paintings:

Yesterday's sketch:
DS #710: Started to study from photos again because I felt like I was at my limit (visual library and colour/value) when sketching free hand.
My goal is to improve in indicating colours simply and fast. I chose to study clouds for a while

Kinda warming up with these:

DS #711: Another one. Felt more comfortable with this one already.

And an extra one: studied a painting of Eytan Zana
Got back to the standard round brush that I always use to no 'cheat' with textures

very beautiful! I really like the splatter effect on the first cloud. It's a cool balance of keeping the cloud soft while giving some dynamic energy. Really awesome
