Hello everyone,
This is my first art challenge and I am looking forward to learning from others. I think I'm going to create a character for the Light but works in the shadows, and I'm probably going to go with a sci-fi theme.

First set of outfit concecpts.
The object on her arm for the first outfit is a knife, for the second outfit is a rough drone idea, and the third I'm not entirely sure lol. I was thinking a flashlight or a laser of some kind, but I think I'm leaning more towards a drone.
Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated. This is my first time conceptualizing a character, so I would love to know any tips/tricks you might have.

Great design so far! For me, I like the knife more than the others, but for the outfit I like the second one the most. I do have a tip for sci-fi and that is Logos. Someone has to have made the clothing or if its a machine than it will have a manufacturing name on it. That is just my personal preference but I do think it could be cool to put one on the jacket or down the leg.

Decided to make some major changes to her face because I wasn't really feeling the first version. I'm leaning more towards the third one, and I'm probably not going to give her pupils. There is just something mysterious about white eyes.

The combination of a demonic looking character and more science-fiction looking clothing is an interesting direction! I'd suggest expanding your canvas a bit to show more of the character, not crop too much of her. Good luck whichever direction you choose, and have fun!

Here is an update for the final illustration. I decided to go with the 1st thumbnail because I wanted to show more of her wrist device. The drone took me a while before I was somewhat happy with the design. I wanted it to be low-profile, but still keeping a high-tech look.

I trying to draw the drone in a way that it looks closer to the foreground but I'm still having some trouble, lol. Also, I'm not sure if her legs are in perspective or not. It looks a little weird to me. Another thing I'm having trouble with is the background, I'm thinking about doing a cyberpunk kind of alley but I'm not too sure.

EDIT: Should I stick more to the first thumbnail and show less of her legs, or keep it as is?

Found out I have to show at least 80% of my character, so I made some changes because I'm not sure if my last update was showing enough of her.
Also, what do you guys think of the background? Does it feel like it's in perspective?

Wasn't too happy with my first attempt. It felt too static and I wanted to challenge myself more. So, I'm going to try and tell a story with a more interesting camera perspective.
